Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary

The Director of Staff Development / Infection Control position at Bear Creek Senior Living is responsible for developing education programs, ensuring compliance with infection control standards, and overseeing staff training.

Responsibilities

• Develop education programs in response to staff needs and teaches staff current accepted patient care and center practices.
• Ensure that the facility follows current CDC, OSHA, and local regulations concerning infection control or standard/universal precautions.
• Coordinate infection control program.
• Schedule RN shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred but not required.
• Background/training in infection control is preferred.
• Knowledge of, or training in, adult learning or previous training experience preferred.
• Current CPR certificate desired.
