Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and implementing nursing policies and procedures.
- Lead, manage, and support nursing staff to ensure effective, efficient, and safe nursing services.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor staff performance and identify areas for development and training.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to enhance patient care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support the overall objectives of the healthcare facility.
- Support the Director of Nursing in budget management and allocation of resources.
- Act as a mentor and resource for the nursing team to promote professional growth and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
