Assistant Director of Nursing

AVIR Health Group is seeking a Licensed Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) who is resident and family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a high-performing team and culture.

About the role

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for assisting and supporting the Director of Nursing with the overall clinical management of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing with clinical management of the facility.
• Support the development and maintenance of a high-performing team and culture.

Requirements

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.
• Knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation, and State regulations.
