As an Assistant Director of Nursing for Aurora Behavioral Health Care, you will provide dynamic leadership in the delivery of quality nursing care services and effectively integrate nursing care into patients' interdisciplinary treatment, experience. This position will role model commitment to patient care, staff collaboration, and customer service. Pay Range: $144K/Annually Responsibilities Actively serves as a key member of the organization's core management team, ensure effective integration of nursing services into overall organization operationsCarries out the personnel management activities associated with direct staff supervision, including screening and selection, orientation training and development, performance management, and employee relations functionsServes as the department's fiscal managerProvides clinical supervision in psychiatric nursing care to nursing staffCommunicates with referral sources and family members in patients' interestParticipates in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoringInitiates and implements Quality Improvement activities including audit coordination, incident reviews, system reviews, survey preparation, etc. Skills Advanced or thorough knowledge of psychiatric and general nursing care concepts and methodologies and demonstrated skill in their implementationSupervisory and basic personnel management skillsSkills in policy and procedure development and implementationBasic teaching or training skills; skills in analysis, evaluation, and interpretation, organization, prioritization, and time management skillsSound written and oral communication skillsAdaptability and flexibility; track record as a team playerClinical evaluation and intervention skills, including crisis managementDetail-oriented, balanced with the ability to see whole clinical and organizational picture and make sound clinical and administrative judgments and decisions, independenceWorking knowledge of, and skills in maintaining therapeutic milieuSkills in maintaining information as highly confidentialMust also be able to cope well with stress, have a strong sense of compassion, and communicate well with others Requirements Current California Registered Nurse LicenseBachelor of Science in NursingBLS (Basic Life Support ) Certification for Healthcare Providers - American Heart Association Benefits 401K Retirement PlanHealth InsuranceVision InsuranceDental InsurancePet InsuranceHealthcare Spending Account & Dependent Care Spending AccountLife Insurance (Supplemental Life, Term, and Universal plans are also available.)PTOPTO Cash Out optionSick PayShort and Long-Term Disability (with additional buy-in opportunities)Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance ProgramID Theft Protection Recruiter Only #INDHIGH
