About the role
As an Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN, you will support and manage Nursing Services, supervise the Nursing Department, and ensure quality care standards.
Responsibilities
- Support and carry out Nursing Services administration and management in accordance with physician orders and resident needs.
- Direct Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in compliance with federal, state, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
Requirements
- Dedicated and compassionate personality.
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- Licensed RN in the state of practice.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Prior experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
