Responsibilities
- Afford support to the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations.
- Earn compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and nursing department oversight.
- Monitor quality measures, clinical outcomes, and resident care standards.
- Conduct audits, investigations, and follow-up on clinical concerns.
- Support staff education, coaching, and performance improvement.
- Engage in survey preparedness and regulatory compliance activities.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
