About the role
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Parker Jewish Institute is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that high standards of quality care are consistently provided to patients.Responsibilities
- Reports to the Clinical Director of Nursing
- Overall responsibility for the care given to patients by the nursing staff
- Provides leadership, staff support, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ensures adherence to standards of quality care
Requirements
- New York State RN license
- Degree in Nursing or related field; BSN preferred
- 3+ years of experience as an RN in medical/surgical, rehab, or long-term care environments
- Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Communicates effectively with others; cooperative and helpful
Qualifications
- New York State RN license
- Education: Degree in Nursing or related field; BSN preferred
