Assistant Director of Neighbor Care

About the role

The Assistant Director of Neighbor Care is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Neighbor Care program, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing a team of volunteers, coordinating with community partners, and reporting directly to the Director of Neighbor Care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and coordination of the Neighbor Care program
• Manage a team of volunteers to ensure they are trained and supported
• Work closely with community partners to enhance service delivery
• Report regularly to the Director of Neighbor Care on program progress and challenges
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the community

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (social work, public health, etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or leadership capacity
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse groups
• Experience with volunteer management and coordination
• Knowledge of community resources and services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
