About the role

The Assistant Director of Multimedia (Videographer) is responsible for capturing high-quality video content for various university events and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit videos for campus events, programs, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with other multimedia professionals to ensure consistency in visual style and messaging.
  • Manage video equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio showcasing past work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional videography experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality content.
  • Qualifications

    • Experience working in higher education environments is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Passion for storytelling through video.

    Skills

    • Video editing software proficiency (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
    • Photography skills (optional but beneficial).
    • Basic knowledge of video production techniques.
