About the role

The Assistant Director of Multimedia (Videographer) is responsible for capturing high-quality video content for various university events and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Shoot and edit videos for campus events, programs, and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with other multimedia professionals to ensure consistency in visual style and messaging.
  • Manage video equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio showcasing past work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional videography experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of storytelling through video.
    • Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
    • Knowledge of video production techniques including lighting, sound, and camera operation.
    • Ability to produce high-quality video content that aligns with the university’s branding and mission.
