About the Role

Clarendale at Bellevue Place is looking for a hospitality-focused Assistant Director of Healthcare Services. This role will provide the Director of Health Services (DOHS) with a full range of administrative, programmatic, and special project support in a fast-paced environment. Must have a valid LVN/LPN license in the State of Tennessee.

Responsibilities

  • Review tickler files each day, print off all items due, and assist DOHS to organize and accomplish each task including employee training and resident requirements.
  • Create monthly DOHS calendar with all required elements.
  • Perform audits as directed by DOHS and report audit results to DOHS and Executive Director.
  • Ensure all education is documented properly. Coordinate with the Business Office Manager to ensure organized retention of training certificates.
  • Set up appointments for DOHS.
  • Coordinate and update staffing/schedule as directed by DOHS. Also schedule candidate interviews and department orientation with DOHS.
  • Serve as primary administrative support person for the Director of Health Services.
  • Create resident medical files and enter electronic health records information into system upon admission.
  • Coordinate internal and external correspondence and publications.
  • Maintain the Assisted Living & Memory Care policy and procedure manuals.
  • Provide computer support to the Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Ensure all aspects of Care Conferences are scheduled and logged accordingly.
  • Support creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
  • Observe and abide by all regulations to ensure that personal health information is protected.

Requirements

  • LPN-licensed in the State of Tennessee (Required).
  • Minimum one (1) year related experience as administrative assistant in a physician’s office or similar position supporting a clinical setting (Required).
  • Minimum one (1) year working in assisted living or health care preferred.
