About the Role

Provides leadership and direction to all Food and Beverage outlets and staff including Restaurants, In Room Dining, Services, and Beverage outlets. Manages daily activities and monitors the performance of the Food and Beverage management and service teams. Ensures operational policies, procedures, and compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and regional Alcoholic Beverage Commissions guidelines are maintained. Assists the Director of Food and Beverage (F&B) in developing and managing the strategic plan for the division, including budget administration, forecasting, inventory, and cost control. Manages the development of the outlet management team and creates marketing and promotional opportunities to draw clientele from the local market.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and direction to all Food and Beverage outlets and staff, including Restaurants, In Room Dining, Café Services, and Beverage outlets.
  • Manages daily activities and monitors the performance of Food and Beverage management and service teams.
  • Ensures all outlet operational policies and procedures are maintained.
  • Verifies compliance with HACCP, OSHA, and regional Alcoholic Beverage Commissions guidelines.
  • Assists the Director of F&B in developing and managing the strategic plan, including budget administration, forecasting, inventory, and cost control.
  • Manages the development of the Food and Beverage outlet management team.
  • Creates and manages marketing and promotional opportunities for outlets to attract local clientele.
  • Monitors the status and progress of each outlet to maintain consistency in operations.
  • Researches market trends and recommends products, services, and operational changes to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of food and beverage trends within the hospitality industry.
  • Ensures all Food and Beverage teams are properly trained in sanitation, food safety, and customer service.
  • Interviews, selects, and trains employees.
  • Appraises employee productivity and efficiency for promotions or status changes.
  • Manages performance, including annual evaluations, career planning, and training requirements.
  • Monitors employee attendance and records absences/tardiness.
  • Directs supervisors to achieve their development goals.
  • Conducts annual performance appraisals with direct reports.
  • Complies with all corporate accounting procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

Pay

$109,000 - $148,000 annually | Bonus eligible
