Responsibilities

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital has a Full-time Assistant Director of Clinical Services Opportunity! The Assistant Director collaborates with the Director of Clinical Services in all aspects of guiding and administrating the Therapy Services for patients. This is in addition to serving as therapist on assigned cases and Program Coordinator on assigned units. A special focus of the Assistant Director is gathering and submitting required data to DCS and other internal leadership team as needed to compile required reporting. Another duty is supervision of Therapy Staff in the absence of or in partnership with (as required) the Director of Clinical Services.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Graduate from an approved college or university with a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology. Current license or eligibility for license as a LMSW, LICSW, LPC, ALC, in the State of South Carolina required. Minimum 2 years demonstrated excellence in counseling and social work. Ability to manage clinical therapy programs and milieu.

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of JCAHO, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities. CPR certification, and successful completion of the hospital’s designated behavioral and physical management training program, including de-escalation and appropriate use of seclusion and restraint required prior to assisting in the procedures.
