Assistant Director of Census Growth

About the role

This role supports census growth across Western and Central PA markets by providing hands-on support to local enrollment teams. The Assistant Director of Census Development works closely with the Director of Census Development to drive referrals, intakes, and enrollments.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with team members in the field to provide coaching, guidance, and support
• Conduct ride-alongs and field visits to observe performance and provide real-time feedback
• Identify local marketing and referrals development opportunities within each market
• Review pipelines, referral activity, and conversion metrics to identify gaps and opportunities
• Aid in developing action plans for underperforming markets and team members
• Support onboarding and training of new hires
• Bring forward new marketing ideas, referral strategies, and growth opportunities
• Identify barriers impacting census performance and help develop solutions
• Serve as an additional resource to the field and provide day-to-day support to team

Requirements

Experience in healthcare sales, business development, census development, or sales leadership is required. Prior experience coaching and developing sales/outreach staff is preferred. Strong understanding of relationship-based sales and referral development is needed, along with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and support multiple locations is essential.
