Assistant Director of Army A-Club

Job Summary

The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking an Assistant Director, Army A Club to support the fundraising efforts for the Army West Point Athletic Association (AWPAA).

About the Role

This position is part of the team focused on securing annual gifts in support of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Assistant Director will manage a list of 400+ donor/prospects and actively identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts for the Army A Club.

Responsibilities

• Manage a list of 400+ donor/prospects
• Identify, cultivate, and solicit gifts for the Army A Club
• Focus on increasing the levels of current Army A-Club members and acquiring new members through research, referrals, and in-bound/out-bound phone calls and emails
• Assist with the administration of benefits to Army A-Club members, including fulfillment of ticket and parking privileges and monitoring donor upgrades
• Oversee targeted fundraising initiatives designed to grow membership within the Army A Club

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Available for travel (5%-10% of working time)

Qualifications

• A master’s degree and 1-2 years of experience working in intercollegiate athletics, specifically within development/fundraising, sales, or customer service is preferred

Skills

• Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Ability to manage a large donor/prospect list
• Experience in fundraising and/or development
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Pay

$61,000 - $62,350 depending on skills and experience
