Previous leadership experience and knowledge of Colorado licensing regulations are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the leadership team in implementing and supporting a high-quality program of care and education for the children, families and faculty in our school community.

Requirements

  • Early Childhood Professional Credential 3.0 Level 3 or higher
  • Knowledge of Colorado licensing regulations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to supervise children while maintaining sight and sound supervision
  • Ability to perform classroom support duties, including diapering and toileting when necessary
  • Ability to lead staff through emergencies and crisis situations
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive school culture

Qualifications

  • A current physical examination by a physician
  • An approved criminal background check, including, without limitation, a Criminal Record and FBI Check as required by the Colorado Department of Human Services
  • A reference check
  • Submission of a medical statement signed by a licensed physician or other health care professional dated no more than six months prior to your employment and no later than 14 days past your hire date, verifying that you are in good mental, physical, and emotional health appropriate for this position

Skills

  • Supports the Director of Education and Director of Operations in maintaining a high-quality early childhood program
  • Ensures compliance with Colorado licensing, health, and safety regulations
  • Recruits, develops, coaches, and supports teaching staff
  • Conducts classroom observations and supports curriculum implementation
  • Builds strong relationships with families and serves as a school ambassador
  • Affords support to school operations, scheduling, and program administration

Pay

$58,000-$64,000 annually, based on Early Childhood Professional Credential 3.0 level and experience.

Schedule

Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday
