Assistant Director for Children's Day Treatment

Responsibilities

• Oversee the supervision, training, and activities of program staff to monitor the quality of services being provided
• Collaborate with BOCES educational partners
• Monitor daily program functioning and collect data to ensure compliance with program standards and regulations
• Oversee program’s admission processes
• Manage program budgets and oversee documentation for billing
• Facilitate and coordinate trans-disciplinary clinical teamwork
• Assure the completion and quality of all written assignments and treatment planning as per OMH and program guidelines

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: Master’s Degree plus LCSW and a minimum of three years of administrative/supervisory experience in social work or relevant mental health field
• Experience: Understanding of relevant regulations pertaining to relevant mental health programs. Understanding of the needs of children with social, emotional and behavioral problems and the needs of their families. Experience in educational system

• Demonstrated ability in administration and personnel supervision; skills in interpersonal relationships and oral and written communication
