About the role
The Assistant Director (AD) will take a primary role in working with students related to Brock programs. They will be instrumental in helping students navigate the application and enrollment process for Brock Experiences by planning and hosting recruitment events, advising students on course options, and managing the scholarship application process. The AD will also assist with the Brock Leaders community by arranging for student success workshops, teaching a section of CTZN 110 (as credentials allow), participating in the planning of the Citizen Leader retreat, and advising students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and host recruitment events for Brock Experiences
- Advising students on course options for Brock Experiences
- Managing the scholarship application process for Brock Experiences
- Aiding students in the Brock Leaders community by arranging for student success workshops
- Teaching a section of CTZN 110 (as credentials allow)
- Participating in the planning of the Citizen Leader retreat
- Advising students in the Brock Leaders community
- Assisting with the logistics of professional development opportunities for faculty and staff teams
- Supporting the office with its existing programs and participating in the creation of new ones
- Publicity and marketing of the department including through social media, public presentations, and event staffing
