Minimum Qualifications
- Formal Education: Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
- Experience: Experience in student development, working with faculty, employers, and alumni
- Understanding: Understanding of critical nature of curricular/co-curricular professional development initiatives as an element of holistic business education
- Familiarity: Familiarity with broad range of job market trends
- Skills: Adept relationship-builder and team player; highly collaborative style; ability to work cooperatively with various constituencies, including students, faculty, administrators, professionals staff, alumni, and employers
- Organizational Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Technology Skills: Solid technology skills/aptitude; proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, Banner, Canva, social media, etc.
- Commitment: Demonstrate a deep commitment to the well-being of the Villanova School of Business and the University, a commitment to the University’s Augustinian Catholic heritage, and the advancement of its mission and to serving the needs of a diverse community
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal Education: Master’s degree required in Higher Education, Counseling, Human Resources, Business or related discipline
- Work Experience: Four years of professional experience; Experience in higher education and/or business, knowledge of mentoring and student development, relationship building, cross-functional working, program management, event planning/marketing
