About the role

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards
• Foster an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and parents
• Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day
• Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice in the community
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff
• Help achieve profitability for the company

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Previous leadership experience
• At least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements

Pay

Starting hourly rate of $20.48 based on position, education, and experience. Bi-weekly and daily pay options available.
