About This Role

Kiddie Academy of Rocky Hill is an early childhood education center dedicated to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate care and learning experiences for young children. The academy focuses on nurturing the whole child through a balance of academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Families are supported through consistent communication, safe and engaging classrooms, and a structured curriculum designed to prepare children for future academic success. The team is committed to maintaining a positive, inclusive environment where educators can grow professionally while making a meaningful impact in the community.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Center Director in overseeing daily operations, including supervising/managing staff, ensuring classroom coverage, and maintaining compliance with state licensing and academy policies.
  • Help manage enrollment, conduct tours for prospective families, and serve as a primary point of contact for parent inquiries and concerns.
  • Daily responsibilities include supporting curriculum implementation, monitoring child safety and well-being, coordinating schedules, and assisting with staff training and performance feedback.
  • Maintain documentation, oversee health and safety procedures, and contribute to a positive, professional culture for children, families, and team members.

Requirements

  • Experience in early childhood education or childcare administration, with a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate curriculum.
  • Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to supervise staff, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle scheduling, documentation, and day-to-day center operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with children, families, and colleagues in a respectful, professional manner.
  • Knowledge of state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in early childhood care and education.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts, address concerns, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with basic computer applications and childcare management systems for recordkeeping and communication.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred; Commitment to creating an inclusive, non-discriminatory environment that supports children and families from diverse backgrounds.
