Schedule
- Full-Time 42-48 hours/week
- Monday-Friday
- On-Site in Queens (Flushing), NY
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front and back office operations efficiently
- Lead, mentor, and support staff using a servant-leadership approach
- Manage scheduling, billing, daily closeouts, and clinical workflow
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and pediatric dental standards
- Track and analyze KPIs: production, collections, payroll, and expenses
- Handle escalated patient concerns professionally and empathetically
- Train staff on new systems, policies, and performance goals
- Supervise insurance verification, benefit reviews, and patient financing
- Collaborate with HR on staff development, coaching, and performance feedback
Qualifications
- 4+ years of dental experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of pediatric dental procedures, insurance, and billing
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or advanced certifications preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be able to commute or relocate to Queens, NY
