Primary Purpose Of Position
The Assistant Dean reports directly to the Dean of the School of Business. Primary responsibilities include:
- effective leadership of the School’s Assurance of Learning program across all degree programs and areas of concentration;
- the effective leadership of compliance with specialized (AACSB) and regional (SACSCOC) accreditations, including annual internal and external academic program reporting, completing AACSB survey data, and coordinating AACSB accreditation requirements and reporting;
- serving on the School’s leadership team to provide strategic and operational direction in support of the School’s mission and vision;
- represent the Dean as necessary and perform other duties as assigned by the Dean.
