About the role
We are seeking an engaging and collaborative Assistant Dean, Engineering and Built Environment to join our academic leadership team and help strengthen the faculty and programs that prepare our students for the workforce of tomorrow. The Assistant Dean will support a robust portfolio of programs that include:
- A.S. Computer Aided Drafting and Design
- A.S. Construction and Civil Engineering Technology
- A.S. Semiconductor Engineering Technology
- A.S. Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Technology
- A.S. Energy Management and Controls Technology
- A.S. Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology
- B.S. Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology

Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education leadership or academic administration, or related experience developing and/or mentoring colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
- Experience with project management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of materials science and/or materials testing.
- Experience interpreting and applying building codes and/or conducting building inspections.
- Experience with ABET accreditation processes.

Pay
$94,955 to $106,000 per year
