About the role
The School of Information at Pratt Manhattan Center seeks an Assistant Dean to help fulfill the School's vision, mission, and goals. The Assistant Dean will report to the Dean of the School of Information and will lead several important functions within the School, including admissions, developing part-time faculty, and supporting students.
Responsibilities
- Lead admissions efforts for the School of Information
- Develop and manage part-time faculty for the School of Information
- Support students through various initiatives and resources
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Library and Information Science, Museums and Digital Culture, Information Experience Design, or Data Analytics and Visualization, along with relevant experience in academic administration and leadership.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students. They should also have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
