About the role
The Cross Country Coach will be responsible for developing and implementing a training program that enhances student athletes' skills and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a cross country training program
- Manage team logistics including scheduling meets, managing equipment, and coordinating transportation
- Work closely with the Athletic Director to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Provide support and guidance to student athletes in their personal and academic development
Requirements
- A valid Indiana teaching license is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
- Experience coaching cross country at the high school level
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Skills
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
