Assistant Cook

About the role

The Assistant Cook position within Lyons Magnus, a leading international food and beverage manufacturer, plays a crucial role in the production department. This position supports the mission, values, and vision of the company while collaborating with colleagues to ensure product specifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Identify and weigh raw materials and ingredients based on formulas provided.
• Assist the cook in ensuring products meet company and client specifications.
• Provide testing of ingredients through the cooking process.
• Measure and weigh raw materials; identify raw materials for formulations.

Requirements

• Working knowledge and application of Food and Beverage Manufacturing processes.
• Forklift and industrial equipment skills required.
• Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

This is an in-house temporary position aligned with a temp-to-hire process. While a permanent role may become available, conversion is not guaranteed and will depend on business needs, performance, and attendance. Benefits eligibility begins after 90 days.
