What You’ll Be Doing
- Assists by following recipes for all meals and ensuring consistency and accurate quantities are used during food preparation.
- Assists the Head Cook with food and kitchen supply inventory.
- Ensures kitchen areas are clean and sanitized at scheduled frequencies.
- Operates a “Point of Sale” (POS) system, if necessary.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- Must have Wisconsin food handlers’ course and “Serve Safe” certification or obtain within 90-days of hire.
- Availability to work afternoons, early evenings and weekends, if necessary.
- Must have a valid, clean driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the Tribe’s insurance.
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens.
- FCP complies with all CDC vaccine and testing recommendations for healthcare professionals. Proof of immunizations is required and immunizations/testing provided upon hire for individuals working at the Caring Place kitchen.
Preferred Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment preferred.
