About the role

Assistant Cook at Delaware Valley Job Corps, Callicoon, NY. $18.61 per hour | Full-Time | Tues-Fri 10:00am-7:00pm, Sat 9:30am-6:30pm | Sun & Mon OFF

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for students
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, and support overall kitchen operations
• Keep serving lines stocked and running smoothly
• Provide friendly, respectful interaction with students
• Support and mentor students involved in hands-on learning

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous food service experience preferred
• Ability to obtain ServSafe certification
• Reliable, team-oriented, and customer-focused
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
