Assistant Controller

Wallowa County Grain Growers is a cooperative committed to supporting our members, customers, employees, and the communities we call home. We’ve been serving our community since 1949 and are looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Assistant Controller to join our team in Enterprise, Oregon.

About the role

As our Assistant Controller, you’ll help support the financial operations of our multi-department cooperative by assisting with financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, audits, and accounting operations while working closely with our leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial reporting and reconciliations
• Support budgeting processes
• Participate in audits and accounting operations
• Collaborate with leadership to improve financial processes

Requirements

• Accounting or finance experience
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software
• Commitment to accuracy and integrity
