Assistant Controller

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of accounting experience; prior experience in a supervisory role preferred
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office 365 skills with experience in month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules while ensuring timely and accurate month-end close processes
• Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations to management to support budget and operational goals
• Lead and develop accounting staff through training, coaching, performance management, and ongoing support
• Partner with leadership to strengthen internal controls, improve processes, support audits, assist with budgeting, and drive automation initiatives

Pay

The expected range for this role is $100,000 to $120,000 per year.
