Assistant Controller

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Senior Accounting Manager to support key accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance activities. This role offers broad exposure across the accounting function and the opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesManage and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reporting packages.Support compliance, regulatory, and external reporting requirements.Maintain and enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.Partner with internal stakeholders on operational and financial initiatives.Support external audits and other compliance-related reviews.Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.Assist with ERP system administration and optimization, including NetSuite.Contribute to special projects and strategic finance initiatives as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.6+ years of progressive accounting experience.Experience working within a regulated industry or compliance-driven environment is required.Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.Experience maintaining internal controls and supporting audits.Exposure to NetSuite or a comparable ERP system preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.Title Senior Accounting ManagerLocation New York, NY (hybrid)Client Industry Financial ServicesCompensation $60-$80/hr About Korn Ferry Korn Ferry unleashes potential in people, teams, and organizations.
