About the role
You will play a vital role in executing diverse commercial construction projects. Collaborating with a supportive team, you will drive project efficiency by managing key operational documentation and workflows. This position provides a clear pathway to develop your skills, take on new challenges, and grow into long-term leadership.
Responsibilities
- Cook up project tasks, plan workflows, and implement procedures to maintain strict compliance.
- Manage the Request for Information (RFI) and submittal processes to ensure prompt subcontractor updates.
- Track project financials, including cost tracking, invoice coding, and review processes based on project scope.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, post drawing revisions, and prepare as-built files.
- Monitor contract logs and insurance compliance before allowing subcontractors on-site access.
- Conduct regular site visits to document physical progress, capture photos, and verify deficiency logs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven experience managing multiple structural or construction tracking tasks simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency in reading construction documents, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Familiarity with Procore software, or similar software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with contractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Absolute willingness to travel up to 20% to various project assignments.
Qualifications
- High level of proficiency with Procore project management software.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in construction or project management.
- Demonstrated experience working on wood frame multi-family structural projects.
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related construction field.
Preferred Qualifications
- High level of proficiency with Procore project management software.
- Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in construction or project management.
- Demonstrated experience working on wood frame multi-family structural projects.
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or equivalent safety training.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related construction field.
