Assistant Construction Project Manager
About the role
Tusco is looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in construction project management while gaining hands-on experience supporting projects from preconstruction through execution. As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers and play an important role in helping keep these projects organized, coordinated, and moving forward.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and job setup
- Assist with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation
- Coordinate materials, equipment, rentals, deliveries, vendors, and subcontractors
- Assist with estimating, quantity takeoffs, project scoping, and obtaining vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Help coordinate jobsite access, badging, staffing, and other project requirements
- Prepare and distribute manpower, progress, and delivery reports
- Communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, General Contractors, and other project stakeholders
- Help ensure project information, documentation, and deadlines stay organized and on track
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Bluebeam Revu experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
