Assistant Construction Project Manager

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in the planning, scheduling, and execution of assigned projects.
• Track project schedules, submittals, RFIs, and Change Orders, and flag items needing attention.
• Prepare bid packages, subcontracts, and project budgets under PM guidance.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date project records and documentation in Procore.
• Auxiliary support for subcontractor invoices and Change Orders for accuracy before PM approval.
• Track project costs against budget and flag discrepancies to the PM.
• Support quality control by monitoring that work performed aligns with plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• 2-year project management/construction management degree with a 3.2 GPA or greater.
• 4-year construction management, engineering, or architecture degree a plus.
• Prior experience or internship in construction management, or other related fields, preferred.
• Familiarity with construction management software, preferably Procore.
• Strong organizational skills and eagerness to learn project leadership.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

Compensation

$63,000 - $80,000 / year
