Assistant Community Manager
Job Overview
As an Assistant Community Manager, you will provide support to the Community Manager, which includes assisting homeowners and performing other administrative duties to ensure we deliver exceptional services and solutions that enhance the value of the property and the lifestyle of the residents.
Compensation
Compensation: $24+ per hour, based on experience. FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Your Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative tasks (service requests, architectural requests, tracking deposits, process payments)
- Aid homeowners with payment issues and collaborate with accounting
- Aid and follow up with homeowners, board members, and vendors under the direction of the General Manager
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite, friendly and professional manner
- Be knowledgeable of governing documents, rules and regulations
- Escalate issues as needed
- Aid with meeting preparation
- Attend Board Meetings as needed
- Aid with quarterly newsletters
- Cookordinate with committees and committee implementation
- Cookordinate and implement community events and related materials
- Conduct routine compliance inspections and track violations. This requires regular travel from the corporate office to the community and back.
- Cookordinate key fob set up and amenity access
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills And Qualifications
- Must have a valid Arizona Drivers license and state mandated insurance
- Exceptional interpersonal skills resulting in strong working relationships
- Strong organizational skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Tremendous listener with the ability to diffuse tense situations
- Able to work collaboratively and cooperatively
- Superb judgment and decision-making skills
- Able to prioritize and adjust to incoming demands
- Proficient with MS Office suite
Education And Experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience (required)
- HOA and/or property management experience (highly preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Walk and move throughout the community common areas and facilities
- Sit and stand for moderate periods of time
- Sit at a desk using a computer in an office setting
- Work in an office setting

Work Hours
Monday – Friday, 8a -5p
Travel Requirements
Regular travel with use of personal vehicle is required to commute between the community association and corporate office as needed. Is eligible for mileage reimbursement at current approved IRS rates.
