Job Description Summary
Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services. This position involves managing the financial operations of an apartment community, resolving customer complaints, and supporting leasing activities.
Responsibilities
- Completes daily transactions and tasks related to the financial operation of the community.
- Operates property management software and ensures its integrity.
- Reviews resident files and accounting records to manage unpaid and delinquent fees.
- Manages vendor and contractor invoices, ensuring accurate payment and communication.
- Handles evictions and move-outs according to company procedures.
- Supervises the community in the absence of the community manager.
- Supports the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners and responding to requests.
- Assists in leasing activities by greeting prospects and assisting with lease applications.
Basic Knowledge & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
- Understanding of lease terms and enforcement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Specialized Skills
- All required licenses and certifications.
- Valid driver’s license for golf cart use.
- Demonstrated proficiency in property management software.
Travel / Physical Demands
- Frequent exposure to outdoor elements.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Routine local travel for business purposes.
Pay
The hourly range for the position is $34.00 - $36.46. Additional compensation includes a quarterly or annual bonus program, paid time off, and various benefits such as medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) with company match.
