Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day operations of the property management company
- Provide direct communication with and assistance to tenants
- Respond directly and immediately to property-related issues as they arise
- Procure necessary materials or services for property maintenance, as needed
- Collaborate with property management team to create advertisement materials
- Utilize productivity software to generate and deliver communications for tenants and other stakeholders
- Supervise community and property management employees, including maintenance crew
- Respond to requests from local governments and communities to ensure legal compliance in all managed properties
- Assist with advertising and marketing, including web site postings, as directed by Regional Manager and Owner
- Stay familiar with market competition and rental rates – update market comps quarterly, more frequently if facing high vacancies
- Field inquiry calls to prospective tenants
- Avoid approval of all applicant files prior to move in and complete all new move in paperwork
- Maintain good vendor relations; supervise and inspect all vendor/contractor work

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional education preferred
- Notary certification a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (email and calendaring), basic math, and use of Property Management software, Yardi and commercial café experience preferred
- Excellent references
- Available to work periodic evenings or weekends
