Assistant Coaches: Football

About the role

The Assistant Coaches are integral members of the football program, supporting the head coach in developing and implementing training programs, game strategies, and player development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support the head coach in planning and executing training sessions for players.
• Work closely with players to develop their skills and improve their performance.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive team approach.
• Attend games and practices to provide immediate feedback and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Coaching, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead athletes.
• Strong understanding of football rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of video analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience with player evaluation and assessment.
