Job Duties
- Aid the head coach in all aspects of a competitive Division I lacrosse program.
- Coach and develop players across all positions, focusing on individual skill growth, positional understanding, and competitive readiness.
- Conduct thorough opponent scouting, analyze film, prepare detailed scouting reports, and develop game plans.
- Maintain the team's film exchange program, organize film sessions, and keep video records updated.
- Engage in recruiting efforts by identifying, evaluating, and building relationships with prospective student-athletes.
- Oversee day-to-day program operations, including managing equipment, travel logistics, compliance logs, and communications with university staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of collegiate women's lacrosse coaching experience, or equivalent playing experience; Division I experience strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
- Proficiency with video platforms (Hudl, ScoreBreak, or similar), Teamworks, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- Understanding of NCAA rules and the ability to ensure compliance across all operational areas; familiarity with Big East Conference policies and procedures preferred.
