About the role
The Assistant Coach is responsible for guiding and mentoring student-athletes, supporting their skill development, and promoting teamwork, discipline, and a strong competitive spirit both on and off the field.
Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor student-athletes in volleyball skills and strategies.
- Support team building and competitive spirit among players.
- Work closely with the Athletic Director and Principal to ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or a minimum of 60 college credits.
- NJ Substitute Certification (iLearn can assist with application process).
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, including oral and written communication.
Qualifications
- Pass the state-required Mantoux Intradermal Tuberculin Test as required by N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.3.
- Pass a criminal history background check to prove non-conviction of a crime or disorderly person's offense in accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:6-7.1.
- Provide evidence that health is adequate to fulfill job functions and responsibilities with reasonable accommodation pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 12101 and in accordance with N.J.A.C. 6A:32-6.2.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.

Pay
$3,000+ per month.

Varies based on game schedules and practices.
