Assistant Coach - Tennis
About the role
The position is a seasonal stipend assistant coach for tennis at a high school level.
Responsibilities
- Follow placement based on years of coaching experience.
- Complete the KSD online application process including professional reference forms.
- Annual WIAA general rules clinic, WIAA-approved rule clinic for the sport being coached, and KSD Vector Training requirements.
- Concussion recognition and management training renewed every three years.
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness and Training renewed every three years.
- Coaching Principles training or NFHS Coaches Fundamentals Course or WIAA Coaches School training before the third year of coaching.
- Read and sign the KSD Coaches Manual.
Requirements
- Valid background check for paid coaching positions.
- At least 19 years old for assistant coaching positions.
- A valid first aid and CPR card.
- Must follow specified training and renewal procedures.
