Assistant Coach - Temporary Coach Pool (AY 26/27)

About the role

The Department of Athletics at Cal Poly Humboldt is seeking qualified individuals to fill Assistant Coach Pool positions. Assignments listed below may not be offered, or available, every term. Please check with the Athletics Department (athletics@humboldt.edu) for the most current information.

Responsibilities

• Previous college or high school men’s and/or women’s basketball coaching experience is required.
• Experience running clinics and camps.
• Experience recruiting student-athletes.
• Ability to assist with administrative duties including travel arrangements and budgeting.
• Experience with computers.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications:
• An earned BA/BS degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university is preferred at time of appointment.
• Experience with California/West Coast recruiting.
• Experience with Public Relations, including but not limited to public speaking/appearances and working with booster organizations.
• Experience fundraising.

Pay

The anticipated full-time salary for this position is $75,456 annually (salary will be prorated to the timebase assigned).
