Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid in developing a competitive program at the national level.
- Execute short- and long-term recruiting strategies.
- Collect and organize scouting information on opponents for game preparation.
- Utilize video feedback systems for scouting opponents.
- Develop and implement performance technologies in player development.
- Promote the academic progress of student-athletes through collaboration with the Office of Academic Services.
- Ensure budget accountability.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Comprehensive understanding of NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and University of Arizona rules and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to solve problems and make sound decisions.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to foster positive interpersonal relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- One (1) year of experience coaching.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coaching elite athletes.
- Three (3) years of coaching experience at the college level.
- Experience using performance technologies and data-driven development programs.
