Assistant Coach, Softball

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance to the Head Softball Coach in practice and game planning.
• Develops training sessions for Denison athletes and provides feedback and direction.
• Formulates strategies for future opponents and analyzes film to create scouting reports.
• Recruits prospective student-athletes through communication methods such as email, phone, and in-person at recruiting events.
• Coordinates travel plans and itineraries for the team, including making hotel reservations, meals, equipment, and practice schedules.
• Updates and maintains social media content, posting stories and videos to foster an interactive presence for the sport.
• Maintains oversight of student-athletes' academic progress.
• Enforces team and University rules and expectations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years experience coaching softball.
