Assistant Coach - Men's Basketball
Job Duties
- Aid in managing financial aspects of the Men’s Basketball program, including budget, travel, operations, and fundraising in consultation with the Head Coach.
- Maintain oversight of academic progress of Men’s Basketball student-athletes, assist in the development and implementation of public relations, marketing, and fundraising initiatives for the program and the athletic department.
- Comply with applicable NCAA, Conference, and Texas State University rules and regulations.
- Coordinate player development programs and initiatives.
- Aid in the creation of player development programs to support student-athletes' transition into college environment.
- Aid in creating self-scout edits and position edits.
- Create and maintain a post-season video library.
- Aid in team travel preparations.
- Aid in coordinating sports camps and clinics.
- Identify and monitor at-risk student athletes.
- Work with university departments to ensure player needs are addressed and met as they relate to academic and/or personal concerns.
