Position Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Athletic Director, coaches shall foster the quest for excellence by assisting in creating an educational and competitive experience for student athletes within an atmosphere of sportsmanship, developing individual and team potential by promoting high standards of competence, character, inclusivity, civility, and citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating an educational and competitive experience for student athletes
  • Foster a culture of sportsmanship among student athletes
  • Develop individual and team potential through high standards of competence, character, inclusivity, civility, and citizenship

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of coaching techniques and strategies
  • Experience working with youth or young adults
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of coaching experience
  • Current certification in First Aid and CPR

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
