Assistant Coach, Girls Lacrosse (2 Positions)

Season: March 30, 2027 – June 15, 2027

Responsibilities

• Assist the varsity head coach with all aspects of the Spring Lake Park Girls Lacrosse Program
• Set up practices, games, and schedules for the program
• Supervise athletes at practices and games
• Care and maintenance of program equipment
• Arrange team transportation
• Work with booster club and attend regular meetings with other coaches to evaluate program goals
• Adjust work schedule for practices and games as needed

Requirements

• Strong background in high school and/or club lacrosse competition as a player and/or coach
• Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities
• Leadership skills including organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution
• Ability to work effectively with student athletes, parents, staff, and community

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree and MN Teaching License with coaching certificate, OR equivalent experience
• Previous experience working with high school-age students
• Previous experience as a lacrosse player and/or coach

Pay

$4,130 stipend (may be pro-rated based on FTE of assignment)
