Assistant Coach, Field Hockey

Your Role in the Program

• Coaching and developing assigned players through individual and team-based training, practice planning, and in-game decision-making
• S supporting student-athlete academic progress, personal development, and overall wellbeing in alignment with Lehigh's institutional mission
• Leading and managing the recruitment pipeline — identifying prospective student-athlete, executing the recruitment plan, and building relationships with prospects and families
• Assisting with game preparation, opponent scouting, and performance analysis
• Contributing to program advancement efforts, including alumni engagement and activities that support the program's visibility and resource development
• Managing assigned administrative responsibilities including scheduling, travel coordination, and equipment oversight

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Master's Degree preferred
• Experience as a student athlete
• One to three years of related experience
• NCAA Certification required
• CPR/First Aid Certification required
• Demonstrated coaching experience at the collegiate or elite club level in field hockey
• A genuine commitment to student-athlete development that extends beyond the field
• Proven experience in NCAA recruitment processes and compliance requirements
• Strong organizational skills to manage competing administrative and program priorities
• The ability to represent Lehigh's values of integrity, inclusion, and academic purpose in every interaction with prospective and current student-athletes
