Your Role in the Program
- Coaching and developing assigned players through individual and team-based training, practice planning, and in-game decision-making
- S supporting student-athlete academic progress, personal development, and overall wellbeing in alignment with Lehigh's institutional mission
- Leading and managing the recruitment pipeline — identifying prospective student-athlete, executing the recruitment plan, and building relationships with prospects and families
- Assisting with game preparation, opponent scouting, and performance analysis
- Contributing to program advancement efforts, including alumni engagement and activities that support the program's visibility and resource development
- Managing assigned administrative responsibilities including scheduling, travel coordination, and equipment oversight
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Master's Degree preferred
- Experience as a student athlete
- One to three years of related experience
- NCAA Certification required
- CPR/First Aid Certification required
- Demonstrated coaching experience at the collegiate or elite club level in field hockey
- A genuine commitment to student-athlete development that extends beyond the field
- Proven experience in NCAA recruitment processes and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational skills to manage competing administrative and program priorities
- The ability to represent Lehigh's values of integrity, inclusion, and academic purpose in every interaction with prospective and current student-athletes
