About the role

An athletic coach with Douglas County School District will be charged with the organization and implementation of a successful cheer program at Chaparral High School. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to develop a competitive program committed to creating student athletes who excel in academics, fundamental skills, and sportsmanship. The successful candidate will collaborate with administrators, teachers, coaches, sponsors, students, parents, and community members to ensure school pride.

Responsibilities

• Organize and implement a successful high school cheer program.
• Develop student athletes with strong fundamental skills and a commitment to academics and sportsmanship.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, coaches, sponsors, students, parents, and community members.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Previous coaching experience preferred.

Pay

Stipend range: $0.01 – $5,000 USD (full salary range up to $10,000 USD for exceptional circumstances). Part-time stipends are prorated based on assigned FTE.
